Having grown up in a large family with 8 siblings, Janet understood early the importance of family. She was fortunate to be able to stay home and raise her 3 daughters but as they had gotten older she decided it was time to pursue a career of her own. Janet found her first job in senior living after walking into an assisted living community holding the job posting she had cut out of the local classified ads. She said "I found this ad and I think you are looking for me because I love seniors!" She was hired on the spot and that was the start of her career in senior living. Janet's strong leadership skills were ascertainable and quickly grew into an Administrator role. As an Executive Director she was passionate about being an advocate for the residents and families she served. After serving the community for over 20 years Janet decided to retire; however, she realized she was not quite ready to stop helping seniors and their loved ones and decided to start Elite Care Consulting. Janet also knows first hand how challenging it was to move her own parents into a retirement community and the obstacles they had to overcome having so many family members involved in the decision process. Her expertise and personal experience in the industry makes her a great resource to families needing guidance and a great advocate in making sure her clients are enjoying the highest quality of life.
